Refund Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
The short version: you can stop any listing whenever you like, it runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not refund part of a period. If we fail to deliver what you bought, you get your money back.
This policy forms part of our terms of service.
1. Each listing stands on its own
Every listing is billed on its own subscription, even when several were bought in a single order. Stopping one has no effect on the others, and a refund on one does not touch the rest.
2. Monthly listings
Stop a monthly listing from your dashboard at any time. It keeps running (live, published and citable) until the end of the month you have paid for, and then unpublishes.
We do not refund the remainder of a month already started. There is nothing to cancel in advance: stopping simply means it will not renew.
3. Prepaid terms
Quarterly, six-month and annual terms are charged up front and are non-refundable. They run to the end of the term and then stop or renew, depending on what you have chosen.
The discount is what you are paid for that commitment:
- Monthly: 0% off, stop at the end of any month.
- Quarterly: 10% off, committed for 3 months.
- 6 months: 20% off, committed for 6 months.
- Annual: 30% off, committed for 12 months.
If you want the freedom to stop at short notice, choose monthly. We would rather you picked the flexible option than asked for an exception later.
4. When we do refund
In these cases we refund without argument:
- We never published your listing. If a listing you paid for did not go live because of an error on our side, you get a full refund.
- We take a page or a domain down mid-term. If we retire a content domain, remove an article, or otherwise end a listing for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the term pro rata.
- The position was not actually available. If we sold you a position that turns out to be taken, you get a full refund.
- You were charged in error. Duplicate charges, wrong amounts, or a charge after you stopped a listing are refunded promptly.
5. When we do not refund
- The listing did not produce the results you hoped for. We publish your listing; we do not control whether AI assistants or search engines cite, rank or link to it, and we say so plainly before you buy (terms, section 2).
- You changed your mind after the listing went live.
- You never filled in your listing content. The position was held and the page was live; the empty description was within your control.
- We removed the listing for a breach of our terms.
6. Consumers
Sighted is sold to businesses, and the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers does not normally apply. Where it does apply to you, we honour it, but note that by asking us to publish your listing immediately, you may lose that right once the service has been fully performed.
7. How to ask for a refund
Email hello@getsighted.ai from the address on your account, and tell us which listing and what went wrong. We aim to answer within two working days, and approved refunds go back to the original payment method within ten working days.
8. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback freezes the listing while it is investigated, which usually costs you more than the conversation would have.
